It contains many calories, which is energy that brings temperature up one degree celcius. The more you eat, the more energy you have. The more energy, the more it's not needed. The energy is stored until you need it, and if not burned off, it will have a negative affect of making you fat. But chocolate is good for a random snack, just not an everyday meal unless you burn it off easily.
