There is no established safe or effective dose of cinnamon that can cause a miscarriage, and using it for this purpose is not recommended. High doses of cinnamon can lead to adverse health effects, but the relationship between cinnamon and miscarriage is not scientifically supported. If you have concerns about pregnancy or miscarriage, it is essential to consult a healthcare professional for proper guidance and support.
Cinnamon is generally safe for most people when consumed in moderate amounts, but in some cases, it can cause heart palpitations, particularly if taken in excessive doses or if an individual has a sensitivity to it. The compound coumarin found in some types of cinnamon, especially cassia cinnamon, can affect blood pressure and heart rate. If you experience palpitations after consuming cinnamon, it's best to consult a healthcare professional.

From gourmetsleuth web site 1 stick of true cinnamon = 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon = 1/8th teaspoon cinnamon extract From the Cook's Thesaurus One part flavoring oil is roughly equivalent to four parts extract, but this may vary according to the products used. To be safe, begin by substituting 1/8 teaspoon of oil per teaspoon of extract, then add more drops of oil until you're satisfied with the flavor. So 1 tsp of cinnamon extract = 1/8 tsp of cinnamon oil = 4 tsp ground cinnamon = 8 sticks of true cinnamon
