Up until they bite you. Wow, do they have long sharp teeth.

It is tons of fun but you always have to remember do not touch them after birth,if you do,the mother will either kill them,or eat them.You can't touch them until they open their eyes and start exploring their cage.Right after the hamster's birth,separate the father from the mother or they will mate again and you will find another littler nestled in a warm and comfortable spot in the cage.If you make sure to follow all of the rules,it will stay fun and clean and a great joy to watch them grow up.
