Hamsters can get hiccups but they will just go away, like humans hiccups, to get rid of my hiccups i do a headstand and hold my breath. But obviously, a hamster cannot do that. So just give them fresh water, give them some food then it should be fine.
If you see a hamster chugging down its water, you may hear tiny hiccups after!
Hiccups are very common in all puppies and are actually quite normal. Puppies get hiccups when they eat and drink as they tend to ingest large quantities of air which then triggers hiccups. Common hiccuping is normal until dogs are about 8 months of age. There is also nothing that you can really do to stop hiccups in a puppy, other than having the puppy rest until the hiccups are gone.
Yes, it's normal for puppies to get hiccups. Just like humans, puppies can experience hiccups due to excitement, rapid eating, or even after playing. Hiccups are usually harmless and tend to resolve on their own. However, if they persist for an unusually long time or are accompanied by other concerning symptoms, it's best to consult a veterinarian.
