It is not unhealthy to eat solely fruit in the night-time, although due to the rough digestive nature of fruit, sleeping directly after is not recommended. When you sleep you're body slows down its metabolism which is responsible for digesting and burning calories. This slowed digestive process on an already difficult to digest vegetation could cause a lot of gas to build up which may or may not cause stomach pains (let alone the other unpleasant side effects of having a gassy stomach). This however, can be true for any food before bed-time, although it is more likely with harder to digest foods such as vegetables and fruits. DESPITE all of this, it is just as likely happen is it is NOT to happen and in either case it will NOT cause any negative effects to your health.
