Definitely if you have the desire and courage to keep trying a food you dislike. I used to hate onions/tomatoes as a kid. I swore I would never like them nor eat them again. I took an 8 year break from eating it and tried it again and have loved them since. However, there are things like hominy and liver that I've always hated and still hate. Its different when you are being force-fed food you hate, I think.

When do babies get taste buds?

Babies develop taste buds early in gestation, around 8 to 13 weeks. By the time they are born, they have around 9,000 taste buds, which are fully functional. This allows them to taste the amniotic fluid, and they may show preferences for certain flavors even before they start eating solid foods. Their taste preferences can evolve as they are introduced to different foods during weaning.
