"Cassia fruit" is unfortunately not enough for us to be able to answer the question. There are several hundred species in the genus Cassia, and that's not even counting related plants also called Cassia (some of which are closely related and some of which are not), and we have no idea which of these thousand or more plants you mean when you say "Cassia fruit".

Of this wide variety of different plants, some have edible fruit, some have inedible fruit, and some have toxic fruit. It's vitally important that you specify exactly which plant you're talking about, ideally by physically taking a sample of the fruit and maybe a couple of leaves along with several pictures of the plant it came from to a biologist or botanist for identification.
