Is wine okay to drink it in the Bible?

God prohibits people from getting drunk. In The Bible Jesus turned water to wine and gave it to people to drink. Wine back then was furmented fruit because the water was bad is not strong compared to today's drinks.

(Prov 20:1 KJV) Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.

Now ask your self is something that is"raging" and a "mocker" clean.

In these vs. it says NO wine not just a little this means no wine is ok. it doesent say they can drink a little as long as they dont get drunk.

Yes i know there are many vs. such as this one that say wine is good but the fact is this is not talking about fermented wine.

• SHAKAR: Intoxicating, intensely alcoholic, strong drink

In any dictionary made in the 1860's or before will say that wine is fermented and unfermented we today have changed the meanings of many words

Believing the word wine every time you see it in the bible is fermented,would be like saying every time you see the word man in the bible that it is a male all because we today have changed too much.

In the New Testament Apostle Paul recommends drinking wine for your health or stomach troubles. The wine of that day was quite a bit more watered down and not as fermented as the wine of today. The reason for that was because they needed a drink that would be pure enough to drink. Some water was not safe then. They even had a beer that I understand to be like a ginger beer. They had to have ferment drinks in order to have the purification. (Boiling water does not always work.) Answered by a theologian.

The bible says whoever get drunk will not see the sights of heaven. I don't think there nothin wrong with drinkin but gettin drunk can be a problem
