- 2 (9 inch) unbaked pie crusts
- 8 cups McIntosh apples, sliced (about 3 lb bag)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon Minute Tapioca
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- Preheat oven to 425°
- Mix the above ingredients and put into pie shell and dot with butter.
- Put on the top shell, cut slits for steam and Flute edges.
- Bake for 40 minutes or until pastry is golden brown.
- Cool for 10 minutes before serving.
