Chocolate cake.
well it can make the filling for a cake
Do you mean like Red Velvet cake? It's like regular cake but with Cocoa and food color.
The main difference between devil's food cake and chocolate cake is that devil's food cake is typically richer and darker in color due to the use of cocoa powder and sometimes coffee, while chocolate cake is lighter in color and flavor because it uses melted chocolate or cocoa powder.
No, there are a variety of cakes that are not chocolate flavored.
No. I've made a red velvet cake and it has a much different taste and texture than an ordinary cake. It's more like a complementary cake because if you were just to eat the icing, it would taste gritty, if you just eat the cake you really get no flavor but when you eat them together you'd never believe how well they actually go together. Red velvet cake is more moist and rich. If you were to sample red velvet cake and regular cake you would definitely taste a difference. If you ever get the chance I highly recommend you try it (:
It can be. Cocoa is a noun (ingredient or hot drink), and cocoa is an adjective referring to cocoa or its color.
the fat is pressed from chocolate liquor, leaving cocoa cake that is crushed to form cocoa powder. The powder may be sweetened and sold as a cocoa beverage or left unsweetened for use in bakery and dairy products
