I'm sure there are many negative aspects of Life Savers candy, and below are those that I can think of. * Heavy sugar content which can be bad for one's health: a. Contribution to tooth decay; and b. Contributon to obesity and Diabetes. * Hole or no hole, it is possible for anyone to choke on anything. * Regular, overuse just before mealtimes, could encourage and result in development of poor eating habits, and ultimately, poor nutrition and the potential lifelong consequences thereof. * It could not save your life if you were drowning. THEY DON'T ACTUALY SAVE YOUR LIFE :(

Life Savers are candy. They are meant to taste good. They were originally meant as a "summer candy" that could withstand heat better than say, chocolate.
Life Savers, the candy, was first introduced in 1912 by the Akron Candy Company, which later became part of the Leaf Confectionery Company. This means that as of 2023, Life Savers is 111 years old. The candy is known for its ring shape and variety of flavors, and it has become a popular treat over the decades.
