What is the size of your chicken?
The hens vent is dependent on the birds size, breed and individual physical makeup.
Just like the nose on an individuals face, they are all different.
Chicken defecate (poo) from their Vent. The vent is also known as the cloaca. The cloaca is a dual purpose organ located under the tail of the chicken. Eggs come from the same opening in their body but the waste opening is closed off when the chicken lays an egg.
A chicken "butt hole" is called a vent or a cloaca.
Prolapse is when a chicken strains, and causes the tract nearest their vent to become abnormally external.
The vent is located under the tail feathers. The vent is a dual purpose orifice for waste removal and egg laying.
When the egg comes out of the chickens vent, the farmer licks the egg.
The vent is also called the cloaca. The cloaca is the common multi purpose organ for mating, egg laying (hens only) and fecal matter. The vent is located just under the chickens tail feathers. For roosters the cloaca is the site of the internal sexual organ.
Chickens urinate, defecate and lay eggs all from their vent.
Eggrolls came from southern Asia
