The organ is the esophagus and the system is digestive.
The body stores most of its' food in fat cells called adipose cells.

The heart is responsible for pumping blood throughout the body, which carries oxygen and nutrients to cells. The digestive system, which includes organs like the stomach and intestines, moves food through the body via a series of muscular contractions.

The esophagus is the digestive organ that moves food from the mouth to the stomach. No digestion, only transport, happens in the esophagus.
Food passes through it after leaving your stomach. As it moves through the small intestine your body further digests it and removes the nutrients it needs from it.
