First move your mouse to a temporary home; i put mine in a run about ball. then disassemble the cage, throw out the old bedding and fill it with brand new bedding. then reassemble your cage and put your mouse back in. i suggest changing the bedding at least 1 a week; maybe more if your mouse has strong smelling urine. = )

If you do not separate them the baby mice might be at risk, although a pregnant mouse can be kept in the same cage. If her babies are in the cage with other mice, she might nip and bite the mice to protect her babies though
