Salt is not a carbohydrate, and carbohydrates are not salt. Salt is the crystalline form of sodium chloride. "Carbohydrates" contain carbon, hydrogen and oxygen, and generally nitrogen as well, the CHON elements being the primary elements required for life on Earth.

Most carbohydrates also contain at least a little salt, but the amount varies with the type of carbohydrate, and is generally pretty small.
