I'm no excactaly sure but it sounds bad.has she been eating somthing different or have a tragic event or gotten an injury latly?I suggest seeing a vet.Good luck!
This is hard to say without actually seeing the hamster but my guess is that its other leg got tired and the bones healed into that position. I strongly recommend to bring it to the vet for a check up.
it could very well die. it needs to go to the vet it is in unbelievable pain
Take it to the vet, ASAP!
You really need to take your hamster to a vet.
Your hamster may be limping if it was climbing the cage and fell and then hurt itself. Or they could have an infection. Or they could be faking it which is VERY unlikely. My hamster started limping when it got a sugerpuff stuck to its leg, my mum thought its leg had fallen off!
Basically, dropping your hamster
That really depends on a few things:If your hamster isn't always dragging its legs, that means that when it is, it's "scent marking", or in a non-scientific manner, telling you what's his.If your hamster is always dragging its back legs, you should probably get a vet to check it out. This is exactly what happened to my hamster. I took him to the vet and the vet gave him some pain killers and some antibiotics in an injection. The vet will ask you to come back 24 hours later. In those 24 hours take out all there wheels, tubes and that kinda stuff and make sure you keep them warm and feed them a tiny bit of bread soaked with low fat milk for calcium. Then take them back to the vet the next day.
it most likely is not okay. it is possible it couldve gotten stuck on something in the night like bars etc. or if you do have pine or cedar shavings for bedding it is extremely bad for them and that could be a result.. hope this helped
um it could but it could be difficult.it depends on how balanced it is.
It is 4-30-09 and our little Bubbles was fine last night! Now tonight she is dragging her legs in a delay action and breathing hard-she is 2yrs old but she was perfectly great last night. She is still sweet and won't bite- I think I will call vet in a.m. if not to late!
Sounds like an injury to his spine. This hamster is badly injured.
TAKE HIM/HER TO THE VET!!!! Your hamster could have a broken leg or damaged her/his back.
