What do assiniboines eat today?

On a daily basis we eat the same things everyone else does - things like spaghetti, chicken strips, salads, steak, fruit, yogurt, we like things like McDonald's, Chili's, and Coke, Pepsi and the same things other people like -

we also eat buffalo, deer, elk, cow tripe, tongue to mention a few , and occasionally and ceremonially yes (gasp) we do eat dog or puppy - but very few Assiniboines do this now - I wouldn't eat dog now I love dogs I have 2 for pets (not lunch) but I have eaten dog when I was younger cant remember what it tastes like though thank God! Some of us really like a good buffet too! Not me too many hands all over things. I like oatmeal if that helps.
