The Climbing Perch or Climbing Gourami has the same dietary needs as the other members of its family. They are all basically insectivores/carnivores, and eat whatever insect larvae and other small creatures they can find. Things like mosquito larvae, daphnia, baby or small fish all make a good snack for them. Special Betta food is a suitable basic diet which should be suplemented with a feed of live food (brine shrimp etc ?)when possible.
