They eat candy and live happily ever after the end. They also eat popcorn and watch chickflicks all night and weap like little babies. So don't ever bring a stimuli around because this will happen and that is not very good.

The term "think" would imply abstract thought; we have little evidence if any that they have this capacity; we can only infer neurological function from behavior. Despite their rudimentary brain, crabs do seem to be able to learn and apply knowledge. They evidence behavior patterns of some complexity. They can communicate by drumming or waving their pincers, exhibit territoriality and fight over a hiding hole or over females. One study in Buenos Aires indicated they could remember the location of a threat (seagull) and recognize the difference between a seagull and a cardboard cutout of one, and retained this memory a day afterwards.
