Hamsters tend to store food in their mouths. They like to carry and then hide it in secret places. Unless you see the hamster having trouble eating or breathing, this food in the mouth is normal. My hamster stores food in his mouth all the time so that the other hamsters don't eat it. It's perfectly natural.
I am not sure, but my best guess is that they are choking.
No, it is not recommended to give tissues to your hamster to eat as they can pose a choking hazard or contain chemicals that may be harmful to them. Stick to feeding your hamster a balanced diet of hamster food, fresh vegetables, and occasional safe treats.
Hamsters actually CAN explode....but due to a tumor. If a hamster has a tumor that goes undetected/untreated it may get so large that it cannot be contained in the hamsters body, and therefore explodes leaving the poor hammy dead. :(
Shes probably choking or has too much food in her pouches...i'd talk to a vet!
Choking affects the lungs by choking
Carrots should be cut into small, bite-sized pieces to prevent choking hazards for your hamster. Cut them into thin strips or small cubes that are easy for your hamster to pick up and eat. Ensure that the carrot pieces are fresh and free from any pesticides or chemicals before feeding them to your hamster.
Someone choking you, YES.
The precaution for choking for adults is the same as it is for children. To prevent choking thoroughly chew food.
Call 911! It doesn't matter what the baby is choking on, just that it's choking.
I think you should wait another few days. If it is still there, it might be cancer. Take your pet down the vets to get checked out. The vet might give you some medicine. My friends hamster had that and it looked like a grape was in his mouth. Hope I helped. :) Hope your hamster gets well again. Please reply on any other questions, Hamster Carer
It is not recommended to give a hamster a whole carrot as it can be a choking hazard. It's best to cut the carrot into small, bite-sized pieces to make it easier for the hamster to eat. Monitor your hamster while they are eating to ensure they are able to chew and swallow safely.
When you can't breathe because you are choking, it is called choking or a choking incident. Choking occurs when there is a blockage in the airway that prevents airflow, leading to difficulty breathing. Immediate intervention such as the Heimlich maneuver may be necessary to dislodge the obstruction.
