I would keep small bugs in the cage. A water bowl with baby fish. Worms possibly using tongs to "dance" the worms around. Also injured or stunned prey may be easier for the baby snake to catch. Bull-snakes also eat eggs often if I am not mistaken. I have had some luck feeding baby snakes egg whites and yolks. But i guess they could get sick from the salmonella- maybe try eggs as a last resort. Keep in mind I know nothing about modern snake feeding technology. lol. But def try the bugs, worms, fish and maybe eggs. Keep in mind there are insect that are smaller than the average cricket- find tiny bugs in your yard but no moths, centipedes, roly polies, wasps, bees or water striders and i think fireflies may be a bad idea as well. Oh yes and scorpions and Spiders are right out- I am not sure that they are even technically bugs.
It depends how old it is ! An adult should feed every 10-14 days.
Depends on the size of the snake ! if it's less than a year old - every 3-4 days - over that - once a week is fine !
it take a week
Mice or crickets.
It depends on the age and species of the snake ! Baby corn snakes for example (up to a year old) will feed every 4-5 days but an adult of the same species will only need feeding every 10-14 days. A baby Boa will feed once a week, yet an adult Boa will only need to feed every 2-3 months !
depends... did you feed it during that first week?
For baby corn snakes you should feed them 'Pinkies' (two day old mice). For sub-adults you feed them 'fuzzies' (Juvernile Mice). For adults you feed corn snakes Adult Mice. For adult corn snakes they like to eat rats
