What does a female betta fish eat?

betta fish can be finicky some experts say...I have cared for many. change up the food often and put them in a place they can see you ( very important) . I had over 50 betta fish alone in my lifetime I keep two on my desk at workin a 1 gallon tank with a divider...make sure not to over feed them, make sure to try flake food first, then bloodworms, then try the many frozen variety at any petstore... if its the right time of year you can find some petstore that sell live black worms which i have yet to find a betta that can resist those.. the bad news is black worms are often not kept by the petstore in good condition so some will make sick fish or dead fish.. i catch mosquitoes and feed that to them.. they love those too but so do all my fish

I had a betta fish that wouldn't eat anything for a few days. Later on I found out he was somehow injured. Most betta fish love freeze-dried bloodworms. They are tiny lil worms, and of course they're not alive. If they won't eat that then I would suggest any kind of pellets. All bettas have different taste.

I have had my Betta fish for about 2 years. He has always gone through fazes whether it be with activity level or appetite. Sometimes he refuses to eat out of the blue or for other people. Sometimes he eats better if I replace about 2/3 of the water in his tank. He always comes out of it though, it just takes a little time. Hope that helps!

betta bites or flakes my fish eats both but if your changing ur fish's type of food at first it won't like it so try to mix it but after about a week u can just give it the new type of food!

They will mate with males but they both have to be ready and accept each other.
