Pomegranates look similar to an apple in size and round shape but it has a crown with five petals, at the end side of the fruit. Colour is mostly deep red, but other varieties has golden yellow to reddish colour. After flowering the fruit nurtures in a shape like Guava and green colour. Once the inner seeds gain juice in it, it takes a round shape like apple. At the maturity stage fruit gets deep red colour, and crown petals turn inside. At this stage it is juicy, sweet and deep red in colour.
