Some creative ways to use pistachio flavor extract in baking and cooking include adding it to cookie dough, cake batter, frosting, ice cream, or even in savory dishes like salad dressings or marinades for a unique and nutty flavor.
Use extracts and flavorings to give cake mixes your personal touch. Coconut extract is a wonderful compliment to chocolate cake mix, as well as to brownie mix, as is cherry flavoring. Adding butter flavoring to yellow and white cake mix gives them a wonderful rich taste. And adding vanilla extract to any cake mix intensifies the natural flavors of any cake mix. Experiment with your favorite extract flavors and cake mixes; you will be pleasantly surprised with the results.
it wouldn't taste very good because its all on there
This is more of a matter of taste I'd say, however, I'd suggest using Mint Extract in place of the normal vanilla. Vanilla extract is called for in most chocolate cake recipes, it enhances the chocolate flavoring, to make a mint cake, just substitute a mint extract for the vanilla.
it would not taste good
Tipsy cake is flavored with liqueur, i.e., it is drunken cake or "tipsy." A particular tipsy cake would taste like an ordinary cake with the flavor of the whatever type of liqueur was added.
Hey, Obviously it sweetens the cake and will make it taste a whole lot better!! Without the sugar the cake would be absolutely tasteless and bland! I always use sugar in baking! x
No, adding additional all purpose flour to a standard cake mix would not affect the taste as much as it would affect the texture and produce a heavy cake that might not rise properly.
Brown sugar will vary the taste.
It probably wouldn't taste very good and it would raise out of you cake pan and also would be like eating a roll and a piece of cake at the same time
I use vanilla and orange extract when i bake a cake.
it is to give the cake a sweet taste instead of a bitter pale taste.
