Dairy farms are developed in prairie regions due to the availability of vast open spaces for grazing and cultivating feed crops, such as alfalfa and corn. The prairie regions also typically have a favorable climate for dairy cows, with moderate temperatures and adequate rainfall to support dairy farming operations. Additionally, the flat terrain in prairie regions makes it easier for farmers to manage and expand their dairy operations.

Life is different now because we have developed and invented more and more since then. We created factories, which were developed, improved, and are what we have today.
Most factories in the 1800s were located in developed areas where there was a reliable source of fuel. They were often near sources of coal or on rivers to use the flowing water.
The north had factories and textile mills. The south had industrial scale cash-crop agriculture.
There were many plantations and mine, but few factories. This created an unbalanced economy. There was a small middle class, and not a lot of goods for local consumers.
Frank Lloyd Wright is known for his prairie style architecture that blended with the natural prairie landscape. The designs featured low, horizontal lines, as opposed to the high vertical lines of the Victorian houses. This style of architecture developed into what became known as the prairie school of architecture. Other architects who were part of this movement included Percy Dwight Bentley, Marion Mahony Griffin, and Barry Byrne.
