If it is a takeaway meat curry, it borders into both "protein" and "fat" food groups. If it is a takeaway vegetable curry, it is (most likely) to be both "fruit/veg" and "fats" food groups.

If it is a homemade "healthy" meat curry, it is primairly the "protein" food group, unless it is cream-based/coconut based, in which case it is again "protein" and "fat". If it is a homemade vegetable curry, it is primarily "fruit/veg" food group.

(The distinction between takeaway and homemade is made due to most takeaway curries using a high proportion of fats and oils during the cookery process. Generally the amounts used in home cooking are far less.)
