Any food can become unhealthy if it is eaten too often. Oatmeal is generally pretty healthy. If you eat oatmeal every day for breakfast, or even for other meals or snacks, you could be getting too much. Too much of one similar amount of calories and nutrients is not good for your body. Humans need a balanced diet that inclded fruits, vegetable, protein, carbs, and other vitamins and minerals to function properly. Too much of any one food or drink is not good because it is limiting the mix of nutrients that the body is consuming. Eaten occasionally or with a well-balanced diet, there is nothing really wrong with oatmeal, though.
