1 male and 1 female will breed, 2 males will fight until 1 is too injured to continue and eventually 1 dies, 2 females, they will still fight. If you have at least 6 female bettas, they won't fight. If you have less than 3, they will fight.
if female beta fish are put together they would start to fight like the males.
It dies.
No they cannot, also if you put two Betta fish together, they will fight.
No becaUSE THE MALE BETA FISH WILL FIGHT TO DEATH.
Bettas are dumb as rocks. If you put another betta, any other anabantid like a gourami, or any long-finned fish in with a betta, the betta will fight it because he will think it's another betta. If you put a short-finned fish in with your betta, they'll live together peacefully.
Nothing will happen but if you put a female betta fish and a male betta fish their going to figth so make sure to have that thing that separates them male betta fish can figth and if a male betta fish has babies separte them and keep them away from their parents and when they grow up check if their a male or a female if their female put them on the same tank put there might be a lot of females if i was u i will just sale them cuz i think you only have one tank but thats my opinion and if somebody needs a question just tell me my name is Allison Hamilton
it depends some fish can be less aggressive than others i had a male Betta that lived fine for years with gold fish
no
they all fight to the death. Samantha
Gold fish require water below 70F and Bettas require water above 75F so they should not be kept together.
Betta fish are best as a solitary fish and are not compatible with goldfish.
Beta fish don't get along with other fishes, they will attack any fish that they see as a threat. If you buy a female and a male beta DO NOT put them together.
