A miniature quiche served as a canape is a small, bite-sized pastry typically filled with a mixture of eggs, cream, cheese, and various ingredients such as vegetables, meats, or seafood. These savory treats are often baked in a pastry crust and can be served warm or at room temperature, making them ideal for appetizers at parties or events. Their elegant presentation and rich flavors make them a popular choice for sophisticated gatherings.
Definitely.
Canapés are served with drinks, whether before a meal or not. They are usually served as cocktail food, that is, when people are standing up and chatting.
The recommended internal temperature for a quiche to be safely cooked and ready to be served is 160F (71C).
A sofa or divan. 2. (Cookery) A slice or piece of bread fried in butter or oil, on which anchovies, mushrooms, etc., are served.
It depends totally what the canape is made of. A slice of process cheese on a Ritz cracker is not going to cost as much as a canape made of caviar
I would first crumble up a sheet of foil. Uncrumble the foil (not completely) and lay that in a frying pan. Then I would lay the quiche on the foil. Purpose of foil is to keep the bottom of quiche from burning. Cover pan loosely with lid or foil and put heat on low. Check after a while to make sure quiche is heated throughout. Many restaurants use a microwave and that simply ruins the quiche. I have not tried this method on quiche but it works great (without foil) when reheating pizza. I just had quiche in a restaurant who served microwave reheated quiche. It was terrible. The eggs were slimy and the crust was mushy. Yuck.
A canape is a small finger food whereas a canopy is an overhead covering, usually used outdoors.
