Put the solution into a clear glass jar without getting any undissolved sugar in it. Tie a string to a pencil, and put the string in the jar so it is not touching the sides or bottom, and set jar where it is undisturbed. Pull the string out once the crystals reach the desired size or stop growing, and let them dry before eating.
