I think you mean falafel! It's a delicious, nutritious (and healthy if they use healthy oil) and vegetarian food.
There are two ways it's used (the first more correct than the second):
1) The real definition: Falafel is a deep-fried ball or patty made from ground chickpeas and/or fava beans. Falafel is usually served in a pita, which acts as a pocket, or wrapped in a flatbread known as lafa. The falafel balls are topped with salads, pickled vegetables, hot sauce, and drizzled with tahini-based sauces. Falafel balls may also be eaten alone as a snack or served as part of a meze. 2) A lot of people call a wrap, a falafel, but really it's not the same thing. I've heard people referring to a pita wrap (with no falafel in it) a falafel before.
