Perhaps you mean gram flour which is a flour made from ground chick peas (garbanzos). It is high in protein and may be included in gluten-free flour blends. You may want to restrict it's use to savoury dishes or Chapatty-type breads as it has a rather raw (some say earthy) flavour.

Of if you mean garam masala, this is a ready-mix blend of ground spices. It usually contains cardomom, cinnamon, cumin, cloves, nutmeg and pepper - but it is more aromatic than hot.
