I have the exact same problem, unfortunately at the moment i keep getting bad breath during the day so have to have mints or something to help with that so i'm in a lose-lose situation
Yes, if it's a mint candy with REAL peppermint oil in it, it does affect the brain, and those candies or lollies can assist, beneficially: nervousness, insomnia, cramps, coughs, migraine and headaches, poor digestion, heartburn, abdominal pains and nervous vomiting. One problem is that if a person eats many mint candies or lollies, they will put on weight. Mint candies are actually quite medicinal, especially if a person has any of the above problems, and is underweight. If overweight and wanting those candies: keep on eating amounts of liquorice, to speed the metabolism, and some exercise. Bon Appetit.
The problem is that the chocolate syrup is Yummy But the maple syrup is Nasty :) lol

My family has been using gulf wax for years to harden chocolate on candies. No ill effects have been experienced.AnswerYes. A lot of chocolate you buy, especially the formed chocolate like Easter bunnies and santas, contains wax. It's what makes them shine and it keeps them hard. As a chef, I mix a little bit of wax into most of my chocolate, especially if I am dipping things into it or making shapes. Paraffin wax is non-digestable, meaning that it actually passes right through the body with no part of it being absorbed.
My husband rubbed in the capsaicin cream quickly on the area that needed it, and it started burning, so I asked him to hurry and put on peppermint essential oil. Only a few drops of the peppermint oil "put out the fire"! We wanted to use both, because the peppermint oil is very calming and cooling, and the capsaicin helps heal. My problem was PHN pain after a bout of shingles.
All of them. The problem with chocolate is that it contains a substance known as theobromine, and this substance is toxic to dogs but not to humans. For more information, see Related Questions, below.
