As with most large groups of animals, snails are a highly diverse assemblage of creatures with many different modes of living, and many different dietary habits.
Many snails eat plant matter. Some snails catch and eat fish, and some even eat other types of snails. Some eat dead, decaying material, and likely some eat other things that I've not mentioned here. In summary; snails can be predators, herbivores, and omnivores, and eat a lot of different things depending on what species of snail it is.

Dry kibble is best unless your dog has teeth or mouth problems. Dry kibble is good for their teeth. The kind of food depends on your dog; puppy chow for pups, adult food for adult dogs; even senior food for senior dogs. You can even purchase food for specific health problems, joint mobility, obesity, ect. Purina is great, healthy and has lots of options. Just follow the feeding guidlines based on weight on the back of the package.
