Probably, if you take correct care of it, about 10 to 20 years. But it's not guaranteed. There will be tons of disease encounters and you will have to do whatever it is to save your fish. If you continue to change water one a week, feed it twice a day (no more), and keep the water clean and the fish disease-free, there is a higher chance the fish will live longer.

Koi is a type of fish. Just don't put koi in the pond and it will not be a koi pond.
If the Koi is large enough it may well eat a goldfish fry but Goldfish and Koi are not fighting type fish so they do not normally bite one another.
they just have a short life span period.
Goldfish do not have hair; instead, they have scales that cover their bodies which can vary in type and colour depending on which type of goldfish you have.
Yes pond comets and other pond goldfish get along with koi, however koi can get over 24 inches long when a comet typically doesn't grow more than 12 inches- that's quite a considerable difference in size (which is why its often best to keep koi with other koi and goldfish with other goldfish).
