Most bone ends are rounded.
A chicken has one breast. That breast is separated into two lobes by the breast bone. The breast bone runs down the middle of the chicken breast making it appear like two when it is cooked.
The hip joint and the shoulder joint are the two joints in the body that are considered ball-in-socket joints. These joints allow for a wide range of motion in multiple directions due to the spherical shape of the ball-like bone fitting into the socket-like bone.
Hinge joints include a cylindrical bone end that fits into a groove, called a trochlea, on the other bone. One example is your elbow.
