What is the shelf life of cooked liver?

But if it is commercial dog food, then the package should tell you how to store it, and for how long it will stay good. If it is home-cooked liver, then it should be kept no longer than three days, whether for yourself or your pet. And, of course, always refrigerate cooked foods within two hours after cooking. Contrary to common belief, pets can get sick from food borne illnesses, just as people do.
