* Yes, corn is very acceptable for Thanksgiving. The Pilgrims used corn along with their turkeys. If you are having corn on the cob, melt the butter in a small pot and you can add a little garlic to it (if you liked) and then put it in a small bowl with a basting brush (looks like a paint brush.) This is a much easier way to get all that yummy butter all over the corn. If the corn is frozen then add a wee bit of sugar in the boiling water to give it a little sweeter taste.
