The purpose of the air handler breaker in an HVAC system is to protect the air handler unit from electrical overloads. It functions by interrupting the flow of electricity to the air handler unit when there is a surge in electrical current, preventing damage to the unit and ensuring its proper operation.
A food handler with a sore throat or fever should be excluded from food operations when there is a risk of spreading illness to customers. They should not return until they have been symptom-free for at least 24 hours to prevent potential contamination of food and surfaces. It is important to follow local health department regulations and guidelines regarding exclusion policies for sick employees.
Depends on the situation. In short, the ADA entitles the disabled handler to take the service dog anywhere the general public may go. There are situations where a service dog may be excluded, and sterile environments is one of them. If the disabled handler is in an sterile operating room and the hospital bans anyone not involved from entering due to infection control, i.e. relatives and other non-hospital person are EXCLUDED, then the service dog may be excluded as well. Many hospitals have windows that look in on the operating room where those that are excluded may watch, many times the service dog is placed there to observe and see their handler, through glass. If the ICU is not a sterile environment, i.e. relatives can walk in with street cloths, then the service animal must be allowed in. An ADA guide with many of the exclusions in the links.

A food handler with an infected hand wound must immediately stop working and report the injury to their supervisor. They should cover the wound with a waterproof bandage and wear gloves if they are permitted to return to work. However, if the infection poses a risk of contamination, the food handler should be excluded from food handling duties until the wound is properly treated and healed. It's essential to maintain food safety and prevent the spread of pathogens.

The manager should immediately send the food handler home to prevent the potential spread of illness to customers and other staff members. They should also ensure that the food handler does not return to work until they have been symptom-free for at least 24 hours and, ideally, have consulted a healthcare professional. Additionally, the manager should reinforce hygiene protocols among all staff and consider reviewing the operation's procedures for handling illness in food handlers.
