- by the evaporation of water crystallized sodium chloride is obtained
- by distillation of water sodium chloride is obtained as a residual product
1. Using a salt pan. (Digging a ditch, filling it with salt-water, and letting the water evaporate. 2. Draining salt out using a strainer. one way, is to let the salt water boil over a period of time, and the salt will be left an the bottom. put a glass cover over the top and the water will be in pesperation beads. maybe a... filter?
Salt is removed from seawater through a process called desalination. There are two common methods: distillation, where the water is heated to create steam that is then condensed into fresh water, and reverse osmosis, where pressure is used to force seawater through a membrane that only allows water molecules to pass through, leaving the salt behind.
One way was to dig holes in the ground, pour salt water in it, and evaporating the water, leaving the salt behind. The second way was to mine for them from the salt mine in taghaza
I can think of two ways: 1. Pour in some water. The salt will dissolve and the iron won't, then filter out the water. 2. Grab a magnet. The iron will stick to the magnet, the salt won't. Chemistry is fun!
Two ways that liquid waste is removed from your body... sweating and urination
Well there may be more than two. The rivers flow into the sea, thus diluting the salt, but salt carried by the river will increase the salt content. Salt may be removed by precipitation, but only if the concentration becomes great.
When a mixture of salt and water freeze, the two substances will not separate. The mixture will just become frozen salt water.
i ain't exactly sure, but maybe u could filter it, so that the sand is removed, then evaporate the water and the salt will be left. This is just i guess i thought of on the spot, :)
