Cougars, AKA Pumas (Puma concolor) take deer, elk, moose, sloths, Bighorn sheep, cattle, goats, and llamas, when available. They also take Lynx, bobcats, rabbits, hares, foxes, and sometimes, humans. They range throughout North AND South America from the Canadian Yukon to the southernmost part of the Andes mountains in South America. As cats go, only the Jaguar is heavier in the Americas.
