an octopus uses its tentacles to catch food
The polyp uses its tentacles primarily for capturing prey and defense. These tentacles are equipped with specialized stinging cells called nematocysts, which can inject toxins into potential threats or prey. When food comes into contact with the tentacles, the polyp contracts its tentacles to bring the prey towards its mouth, facilitating feeding. Additionally, the tentacles can serve as a sensory organ, helping the polyp detect its environment.
in between the tentacles is its mouth and it uses its tentacles to bring in the food
Just like all rodents, they uses their mouth to grab foods. They uses their teeth to gnaw food and the stomach digests the food.
Mollusks get food by eating the floating particles in the water. A mollusk has a tongue-like organ called a radula that it uses to rasps its food.
In its natural habitat, an octopus catches and eats fish by using its tentacles to grab and immobilize the prey. The octopus then uses its beak to bite and tear apart the fish before consuming it.
bombs & making miniature stars (must be controled with metalic tentacles WARNING tentacles may take control)
A jellyfish uses its tentacles to capture food. The tentacles have specialized cells called cnidocytes, which contain stinging structures called nematocysts. When the tentacles come into contact with prey, the nematocysts release toxins that paralyze the prey. The jellyfish then moves the prey toward its mouth, located at the center of its bell, using its oral arms. The prey is digested in the jellyfish's gastrovascular cavity. They use their beak and spit some posion out from their beak. Their tentacles grab hold tightly on to their prey. The most dangerous octopus is the Australian Blue-ringed Octopus (it has the posin to kill a person).
Suction caps on tentacles/arms to grip and open the shells of crustaceans, powerfull beaks to break shells also.
A giant squid has 8 arms, but 2 tentacles as well.
