The fish will eventually die. Bacteria will be produced from the uneaten food. Bacteria/disease will spread in the tank from excess elimination from fish. The bacteria and diseases will happily cling onto fish and kill them. Water changes, a good clean filter and less food will combat this problem.

The plants can take the light and photosynthesis for the fishes to breathe in instead of only giving the fishes the oxygen during morning and taking in oxygen also.
It'll be okay, just keep the water clean and your fishes well-fed.
you cant lower the general harndess of a saltwater aquarium. Why would you even want to?
In one case yes. Only if you have live plants and fish in it. Because the fishes waste falls down to the bottom of the aquarium and the plants roots use it for nutrients. In result, you have a lively, green tank! Hope I helped. Cheers! -Sarah
They will get sad or stressed. They need plants.
You can't take leaves off plants and throw them in your fishes tank but you can put live aquarium safe plants in your betta's tank, Just don't put too many plants that it cant swim around.
The simple answer is yes. A balanced aquarium should contain water plants and these need light in order to live and grow. If your aquarium is a tropical one then the lights should be on for around 12 hours daily.
plastic plants are not harmful to your goldfish aquarium.
No, plants in an aquarium provide oxygen to the animals.
