It just happened to me last Wed and it felt like instant horrible pain. The bone closest to the wound is still very sore. I soaked my foot in the hottest water I could stand for an hour and that helped with pain and swelling but it hurt to walk on and is still very sore. My foot has two little puncture woulds on it so I think it barely got me but the pain made it feel a lot bigger.
