This will depend on what has caused the problem.


Make sure you test your water for ammonia, nitrites and nitrates, they should be at 0, 0, and less than 10 respectively. Also check your PH to ensure that it is correct for your fish requirements.


Many fish with swim bladder problems may be constipated, so feeding them a few cooked & deshelled peas with 1 small granule of epsom salt in it can help. In other cases, it cannot be cured.
