Well since the female goes into season every 4 days, they can stay together those 3 days until she goes into season. But the male and female may fight.
Hamsters do have backbones, if that's what you are asking.
A hamster will move its ears back when it feels threatened or is scared. This is one way of determining the mood of your hamster.
2 hamsters It really depends on the type of hamster you want to breed. Get back to me when you know. E-mail- savannah.baudry@vzw.blackberry.net
well no and yes, if you make any hamster mad or unhappy they might bite if your hamsters ears are laid back ( not from just waking up) then you might want to leave your hamster alone. If your hamster is making a chittering nose then your or any hamster is annoyed also hamster rarely bite unless they are new to your home.
Never he will kill them and most likely eat them
It could mean three things:1. The hamster is excited. The hamster is being taken to somewhere else, out of his cage! New smells! New places to hide! He is vibrating with anticipation.2. The hamster is frightened. The hamster might have been dropped before when it was being held. He might be thinking, "Put me back in the cage! PLEASE PLEASE!"3. The hamster is cold. This rarely happens, but if it is shivering, it means it needs to sleep and "regenerate" some warmth. Don't bring short-haired hamsters in the snow or rain! It could freeze to death!
Basically, dropping your hamster
Mites could have gotten into the food. Mites can cause hair loss to hamsters and other small rodents. Also, it could have been old age. Hamsters will live 1-3 years. If you have a 2 or 3 year old hamster, it could loose hair. Especially the males.
Baby hamsters can be with its Mother hamster until they are 3 to weeks old. If you see them fighting between 3 to 4 weeks separate them immediately. when they are 4 weeks babies will e matured to mate and make more babies! Matured hamsters should be left alone in the cage to avoid fighting and can put together only for breeding purposes. Only when the Female is in heat. Female will freeze when you rub its back, this is how ou know that she is in heat :)
You should tske it back where you got it for a free check up. It could have a serious dieses and if you have other hamsters make sure you keep them seperaited
Male hamsters have very prominent testicles between its back legs on its belly side. If it does not have these, it is a female.
A teddy bear hamster can NOT live with no other type of hamster UNLESS THEY GREW UP TOGETHER SINCE THEY WERE A BABYthen yes, but other wise no. I have one teddy bear hamster he is probally about two years old or one year and he is not very nice to other hamsters the second one i had died because of him then my mom got me another one that grows up to be the size of him which is about 3-5 inches long and he does not do anything with him but i always watch him one day i thought he was not going to do anything to him after weeks so i put the little one in the cage with him and well guess what i did not watch and i came back and the big one was bitting him so that is when i new that no teddy bear hamster will be able to be with another hamster unless they were indeed born together.
