A dressing that tastes similar to Seven Seas Italian is often a classic Italian vinaigrette, which typically combines ingredients like olive oil, red wine vinegar, garlic, and Italian herbs such as oregano and basil. Some brands may also add a hint of sweetness or other spices to replicate that distinct flavor profile. If you're looking for a close match, try dressings labeled as "Italian" or "Mediterranean" from various brands, as they often have comparable taste profiles.
I have been told today by my local pharmacist (who was told by the Seven Seas rep) that Maxepa has been discontinued. I am guessing that this is an economic decision. To be honest, Maxepa is not widely used (many people in the medical profession have not heard of it) and the cost of a product licence may be disproportionately high. A great pity as it works for me.
What a memory. Loved this as a kid. Looking back now it was green and yellow!
