Flour comes from a grain, ground up into miniscule pieces. That grain can be wheat, barley, rye, quinoa, brown rice, or millet. Commonly, it is grown in a field, then taken to a factory to be ground up and packaged.

Butter is a form of cream, hardened into a butter form. Cows are in a dairy farm, milked, then the milk is pasteurized for you to drink safely. Then it is shipped off to a factory. There machines place it into molds, and into the fridge; then it is packaged and placed in your grocery store.

Eggs are laid by hens in a factory; or, organically in a farm/henhouse. Naturally you can buy then in brown or green colors. If factory-laid, they will have been bleached and processed to turn white.
