I am advised ... strangely enough ... that this is Iceland. It was a question recently posed by Stephen Fry on the BBC programme "QI"! Sounds amazing but I believe true ... the second part of the question was which counrty IMPOS the mosat Bananas ... the answer to that one is Ireland. I THINK the reason for Iceland is the high lvel of thrmal activity keeping the ground warm and he 24 hour sunlight in the summer.
