The United States Department of Agriculture and the Kentucky Milk Advisory Panel regularly inspect the Dippin' Dots plant in Paducah, Kentucky to ensure the facility is operating at the highest quality standards.

Dippin Dots ice cream was founded by microbiologist Curt Jones in 1987. He began cryogenically freezing ice cream in his parents garage in Grand Chain, IL. Cryogenics is the method of freezing things at absolute zero. He moved his operation to Paducah, KY in 1990. In 1995 they opened a larger facillity. On their website they say they are Kosher company.
